Material Content

5,0mm wire and 9,3 and 12,5mm strand used.

The wire and strand is pretensioned to 70% of ultimate capacity prior to the 50MPa concrete being cast

Reinforcing Type:

Wire: Triple indented low relaxation 5,0mm wire.
Strand: Stabilised 9,3mm and 12,5mm.

The configuration of the various wiring patterns are determined by the slab length, depth and design loads required.

The wire and strand is anchored at one end of the casting bed and tensioned from the other end, the wire and strand is only tensioned to 70% of its ultimate capacity.

Continuous cast on beds 130m long – The bed are heated and the panel cure under a tarpaulin for 8-12 hours.

This product is purpose made in different depths and takes 5-10 working days of site measurement, depending on the complexity of the contract.

Prestressed concrete floor slabs are a purpose made product which means delivery is possible within 5-10 working days, depending on the complexity and the slab depths which are required.

Standard Sizes Available:

Depths:120mm, 150mm; 170mm; 200mm and 250mm

Lengths:In 100mm increments up to 11 000mm

Width:1200mm

Non-standard Widths:In 100mm increments

Curing

Before de-tensioning and stripping the panels from the casting beds, which are heated year-round, the precast concrete floors cure under a tarpaulin for 8-12 hours, achieving the minimum recommended 35MPa.
